So i sat on my camera......

Well i didn't but one of my friends did, and i need to know if it can be fixed. So it was on my friend's bed, charging, and she sat on it, pushing the lens thing back into the body. Now when you turn it on, it boots up, displays "Access" on the screen, and then begins to beep. Is there any way i can fix this, or is the gear mechanism that moves the lens in and out broken? It's a sony DSC-W55.

My friend dropped her when the lens was open and it jammed the lens. It was better just to get a new one. That sucks. Maybe work out a deal with your friend
