I think we should feel a little left behind, we have no other options as far as video cards are concerned.

Do you think any companies are making another video card for the 1st Gen Mac Pro?

The 7300 GT sucks, we all know this.

The HD 2600 XT (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=412601) is a decent improvement over the 7300 GT. It should work in Tiger as well but you more then likely need to image off of an aluminium iMac. I'll check my 10.4.11 machines at work to see if they have the 2600Radeon kexts. Unless someone else is happy to check.

MacRumors user timb is going to attempt to make a fake UGA driver for EFI (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=4736806&postcount=518) and it should work with other cards (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=4736862&postcount=525) without flashing.

Then there's always sending feedback to Apple, getting behind Blizzard's complaints, or other flashing options (http://netkas.org/).

I still hope that 10.5.2 brings more support for graphic cards but time will tell.

I would visit netkas.org (http://www.netkas.org) that Eidorian also listed.

It is not a matter of OS X 10.5.2, there are no other graphics cards with EFI firmware in ROM, which is required to work on a Mac Pro.

Sure it is, they usually contain drivers so Mac OS X can recognize it.
