Leopard running poorly on Mac Pro, permission repair and error...

OK, for a few days now my Mac Pro has been bogged down and not running great. The first problem I found was with the syslogd command which was running my machine down. Anyway I got rid of that and the machine was still slow so I decided to repair permissions and I got the following error lists:

Warning: SUID file "usr/libexec/load_hdi" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Permissions differ on "private/var/log/secure.log", should be -rw------- , they are -rw-r----- .
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Admin.framework/Versions/A/Resources/readconfig" has been modified and will not be repaired.

I am not to worried about the permission changes, but I am slightly concerned by the SUID file errors.

Any advice, thanks.
 
Not that I know of.

On my Mac Pro I upgraded from Tiger to Leopard and it has never been 100% (although I did a fresh install on my MacBook Pro and that hasn't been great either).

One of my main annoyances with the Mac Pro is, due to moving houses a lot at the moment, it is in my bedroom and turns itself on every night at midnight! That is damn annoying, but I was concerned by those errors.
