I have 14mb's of other section on my iPhone but I dont know what it is. What could it be? could it be emails from my .mac account?

That is likely. That section could also include your web cache and other app temp files.

because I don't know what it is. Would you not delete a program just cos its small? It could be anything.

It has since increased to 26.9mb how can I get rid of the other section?
