So, Right now I'm using a Dimension 4600 (all the way from 2004! :eek:) and am seriously considering upgrading to something a little more current.
My question is, would I see any performance increase going from a P4 to a Sempron? I'm aware that the AMD is crippled, and is a budget processor, however anything new's gotta be faster than this steaming pile.
