Apple just updated their home page to show that the keynote will be available Tuesday afternoon (as opposed to late Tuesday evening). Phew.

Check out Apple's home page (attached).

I've never found the server healthy enough to watch until 48 hours later anyway. Pity they only put the MW'07 onto the ITS. Perhaps they'll do it with the '08 - so it can download in full and the be watched.

Anyone know why they don't do like streams anymore? Is it a technology issue, or just the way they prefer it?

And yeah I would rather download it myself. The stream for sure will suck rotten eggs. :(

Maybe you could rent it as an iTunes movie

Can they PLEASE, PLEASE make it downloadable so I can watch it on my Apple TV?

Everytime a keynote comes around, I end up poking around iTunes, etc, thinking there HAS to be a way to get this thing on my Apple TV, without some cheesy real-time stream capture program.

How hard is it to post the H.264 file to iTunes?

Brilliant! I hope someone at Apple read your comment and passes it up the line. i will gladly pay for this.

Yes I would pay for it too. The full HD version of course. :)

A 720p Keynote. I'd pay a couple of quid for that.

Previous keynotes have been made available as free podcasts via iTunes, so unless they are planning the Beatles to reunite (including George and John) I predict that this year's will also be free.

Unless I've really missed something - the only time a Keynote has made it to iTunes was MW'07
