Does anyone know if the new drive like some included with later G4s and the G5s supports +R/RW in the hardware? If so will it be activated like many are reporting is being done on G5s with Panther?
Did a couple of searches for the drive itself, Mats hita UJ-816. But couldn't find a darn thing about it anywhere except what we know already, seems like its not in use anywhere else except in these new laptops.
