Hi I am thinking of purchasing a second hand iMac... it would either be a G5 of a Core 2... either way it would be a white one... it is intended to be a media player to be mounted in my bedroom.

So I'll upgrade the hard drive... I am wondering if it just use a standard PC Desktop 3.5"? And if it can only hold one hard drive inside the case?

Thanks.

i dont know the answer to your question but I would try to spring for the intel based one, the g5's dont have the built in I-sight.

The 1.9 and 2.1 Ghz iMac G5 models did have built-in iSight.

Yes, a G5 or any Intel iMac will take one standard 3.5" SATA drive.

Don't really need iSight for this, thanks anyway!
