Well, we didn't pay anything -- so if it's lame we can bail with just the click of a Cmd+W. At least we know the usual suspects will have their text updates -- which, frankly, have generally been enough for me. Shaky and illicit camera and an omnidirectional mike from somewhere in the back of Moscone doesn't really get me erect anyway.

Jan 15, 2008, 09:48 AM
Unfortunately Steve Ballmer is real.
I highly doubt you see any live feed on this. Just pure hype. How would they get the bandwidth to stream from the Keynote without permission? This is BS. Don't get your hopes up.
A few years ago someone had a legit live feed that was not intended for the masses. The URL was a mile long. Pretty cool though as it worked.
I'm sure the Keynote will be available as a Video Podcast on iTunes in a day. That's the highest quality your likely to watch. In the mean time the live blog updates will have to suffice.
