I remember someone posting this last year and it being quite interesting. So, let's hear it: How are you whittling down the hours/minutes?

Luckily I have "work" to keep me occupied this morning. I've strategically moved all my meetings and conference calls around to free me up for the keynote. :D

Building servers. I'm having a geekfest here at my desk.

MR on one screen trying to keep the forums under control and tidy, remote servers building on the other.

I told you it was just speculation ;)

I'm watching TV, it's Inspector Rebus if anyone watches that too.

Chatting on AIM, Yahoo, and gay.com, reading all my blogs, deciding which Mac sites I'll have open, listening to music, and getting my MacWorld spread ready to eat come 11:00 (CST). :)

Going to class. And I won't be done until 15 minutes after the keynote starts.:( Oh well, I'll catch up quick. I'd bring my laptop and get updates in class, but then I'd lose my spot on watching the live video stream and have to risk trying to reconnect.:p

Staring out my office window at the Tyson Corner, VA store which is 10 miles away. Can practically see the mall (binoculars help).

It's like the Sirens calling. I'll subcumb soon.

Reading mass media speculation (trollbait)

Trying to remember which email address I gave Barsuk Records so I can get emailed when Nada Surf's new album is up for pre-order, I like to get the CDs from the Nada Surf boyz noiz.

Bought a few tracks off Nada Surf's Live in Brussels, they are off key in some of the tracks I like in studio albums but I'm happy with the live picks I made. Weird thing happened after I picked a couple tracks, I went to look in my cart and iTunes Store suddenly put up a copy of the Terms of Service in the main viewing panel. It was still dated September 2007 but with a note above it that said The Terms of Service Have Changed... and for awhile it was in a loop where I checked off that I had read it and agreed and clicked on Continue and it brought me back to the same damn thing but with a Done button. Finally I quit iTunes, relaunched it and it let me look in my cart and keep shopping and finally make my purchase as usual. Hmm.. I guess I must have hit a live edge of part of whatever they're rolling out later today.

Shovelling snow (again.. this is starting to seem more like a regular winter).

I am backing up all my iTunes Movies, and TV Shows to discs. Sorting out all my files that I want to keep - then I'll burn them... all in preparation for buying the new <insert name here> MacBook Laptop. Tomorrow or Wednesday.

Well, for starters I (finally) registered with the forums here.
Then there is the compulsive "activating money", i.e. selling old stuff + robbing the savings account in order to buy anything that Steve puts out tonight.

p.s. Is being excited an activity?;)

Welcome :)
And Im gunna take it as an activity, though, due to my muddling with dates and info I somehow had it in iCal that it started yesterday so I've lost some excitement :/

oooo you just reminded me I missed my Cappucino this morning due to lots of time wasted setting up an IP phone with a built in VPN setup. Must go make myself a cap now! :D

sat in my office. it's pitch black outside [i'm in the uk] and the secretary is just about to leave.

"when are you going home, Jonny?"

"uh, s-soon i think. i just have a few... things to catch up on..."

that's how we roll. *cough*

i'll likely not be buying this much rumoured slim notebook anyhow [i'm a student working part time and no optical drive sounds like hell to me] but hopefully it'll be nice enough to admire from a distance whilst the MB comes down in price.

hells yeah.
