I have been having Mail problems and troubles accessing some system utilities. Thankfully I have Apple Care. The tech admitted there are still a lot of problems showing up with the recently re-issued 10.2.8 update. The only cure, until they fix it, is to do an archive and install from the OS X CD and upgrade to 10.2.6

On what hardware are you running it?
I have no problems on a Dual 533 MHz G4, nor Dual 1.25 Mhz G4, nor G3 400 Mhz.

I just updated, after the second revision, last night and everything seems to be running smoothly. Just my two cents..

Funny, I have no issues either. It might be nice if you actually posted what types of problems you are seeing.

Lucky you. Apple Tech told me people are reporting all kinds of problems. Me specifically:Mail is not retrieving all messages and I get an error when trying to launch the Disk Utility. That's it as of now.

Have you tried (1) fixing permissions (2) trashing preferences for the Disk Utility?

I'd recommend not trashing Mail preferences unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Trying to fix permissions is how I found I could not launch the Disk Utility for which there seem to be no preferences.

Try booting off of an OS X CD and fixing perms that way. (If you haven't done so already.)
