Want to get a feeler for what my wifes Macbook Pro is worth. She would like the Air. I know it is a downgrade of sorts, but for what she uses it for it is fine.

Id say it could go anywhere from 1049- 1200. Based on the fact thats its the oldest model Macbook pro available, these were going for 1299 shipped from apple as a refurb 1 year ago. Take into account the upgraded ram and it falls in that range.

I will offer you 1100 shipped should you be willing to sell.

I can say definitively 1100 is your price, shipped. I've bought a similar model.

I would say you guys are giving reasonable offers, I would agree on that price being what you could expect. (Depending on the AppleCare of course and cosmetics) Mac2Sell quotes at 1080, and you can usually expect less then that in a forum...

Actually 1100 is the price for this forum. I've seen these go upto 1300 (plus shipping) on ebay. Again I was previously in the market for one, so I've surveyed the prices pretty extensively.
