Dear Mac users,
I've got the wireless keyboard which is inconvenient as it does not have a numerical keypad. So off I went and bought this one, which said it is compatible with Mac OS X and does not require drivers. However, I am having trouble installing it.
I plugged it in and switched on the iMac. A keyboard identification screen came on at the login, which said it cannot identify my keyboard. It asked me to press the button right of the shift button. As this is a numerical keypad and not a keyboard, there is no shift button. I could only cancel and login.
Once inside, I started up TextEdit. Whatever I type comes up correctly, BUT it is also accompanied by the error beep.
Has anyone installed a keypad on their iMac successfully?
Thank you!
JC
