iPod touch 802.1x w/ 1.1.3

Can anyone confirm that the 1.1.3 update fixes the 802.1x authentication issues that people are having? One thread stated that they added VPN access with the app package. Not sure about the 802.1x though..
 
I dont know much about that - but if there's a way I can test it for you - just let me know what you want me to try!
