Any way to tell iTunes to backup my iPod touch? I sync it but, it does not create a backup for me. I want to make sure I have a backup of all my settings... I don't care about music... just need the settings and stuff.

Re: How do I force backup my ipod touch in itunes?

The quickest way I've found is to right click (or control click) on your iPod Touch or iPhone in the left column of the itunes GUI and select "Back Up" from the drop down menu. Hope that helps

That question was from Jan 16th... iTunes didn't have that option back then.

I Googled "force ipod backup," and this post is #1. 3 years later, this post is still helpful.

Thanks!
