If I ordered a PB on 24th Oct Would I Get Panther?

Just curious if I ordered a Powerbook on 24th Oct would it come already installed with Panther or would I still have to pay S+H

Thanks If you order it from Apple, it should come with Panther. It might just be on CD and you'll have to install it yourself.

Although a better bet might be to wait another few days to be sure of it. Unless you're ordering a custom configuration in which case ordering on the 24th should be quite safe.

Notice the word "should" above in a few places.

no guaranteess i'm sure on the 24th apple will announce when all new macs will ship with panther coudl be like a week or 2 after tho dependso n how much stock they have in many lines
