iPod touch battery question...

if the touch goes past the 20%, past the 10% and goes to 0%, will it remember all its settings?

what happens?

does it shut itself down?

just curious.

Its like your Mac (if you have one). Once the battery gets too low it will force itself into sleep mode until recharged. Even if you manage to run it 100% dry, your settings will be maintained.

i am on my 6th mac, a powerbook.

i do have a pc notebook because someone gave it to me.

i have another question regarding the the battery. What if your ipt battery dies after a year and you're out of warranty ?!

you would have to buy a new battery, probably from apple.

Not realy....the real key is how often you use it and if you properly take care of it or not along with a bit of luck as some will just die early for no reason.

Btw I suspect that the touches battery is soldered onto the board like i heard the iPhone batteries were thus making it extremely unlikely you can replace it yourself.
