So every time I try and burn a DVD this message appears. Today is the first time I try burn a DVD under Leopard. In Tiger I was able to burn several DVDs.

I have a CD MacBook.

Many people at Apple.com discussions (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1199429&tstart=0) have this problem, but I haven't head about it here in MacRumors. Anyone found a fix?

And you do have a Superdirve, not a combo drive, right? Is the media Apple Brand? I have ONLY used Apple DVDs since I found some others did not work.

Maybe try this: http://www.patchburn.de/

This app worked when I put a DVD burner into my Pismo.

Yep, I have Superdrive. And the DVDs are not from Apple but I haven't found with this DVDs in the past. I'll try and see if another brand works.

Yes, please try another brand. Hate to have you "waste" DVDs.

A while back all I ever used was Maxell CDs. Bought a new batch, they looked the same. Not a one would work. Tried 5 of them from random pulls out of the pile of 100. They worked fine in my roomates PC.
