Best format for external Hard Drive using itunes

Need to reformat my external hard drive. Tried Paragon's NTFS for Mac OS X 6.0 but it wasn't very stable, had to reboot 5 times today. So what's the best format to use for music and ITunes? My music collection is about 360+Gb if it matters.

I doubt any iTunes files would be over 4GB in size so FAT32 should be fine if you need it to be used on PCs too.
