I keep seeing these "Universal Docks" on eBay all of the time. I can't seem to find any docks that say they're made by Apple, only these. Are these authentic Apple products?

Might still do the job but it doesn't look like it's an apple product, no.

these are no apple products. It's rather a cheap chinese fake.

Latest version from Apple says it's supported. The older version I don't think does, (you can tell one from the other by size and shape of IR receiver on front - large circle on old, smaller rectangle on new). Assuming this Chinese knock-off is based on the older version, just without licenses paid to Cupertino, I would say this also doesn't support the iPod Touch and iPhone.
