I was wondering if there's Priceline users on the forum and, if so, what amazing deals they've been able to snag.
I remember back in winter of 2001, when 9/11 was still fresh in people's minds, I got 3 nights in a 4-star hotel in New York City (on 6th Avenue a few block from Times Square) for $18 or $19 each (all I remember is it was a little over $50 for the three night stay!). It was even the relatively busy Christmas season.
I think that would be my most successful bid on the site...
