I'm having trouble connecting to my Wi-Fi internet set up in my house. It's WEP protected and it works fine with my other computers, I just can't seem to connect with my iPod Touch. I get full bars but when I try to use Safari or Youtube it says "Cannot connect to server".

check the address reading in your other computers and compare it to what settings come up on the iPod. click on the blue arrow in the wi-fi setting to adjust it. just a shot in the dark. i've had problems like this while out and about trying to find free wi-fi. i'd think if your setting matched your own home network, it should work.

do a search in the forums on this topic too. it's brought up a lot.

Wirelessly posted (iPod touch: Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/3B48b Safari/419.3)

Reset the router, it worked for me:

Makes me smile how people get defensive on how they decide what name to use for their machine... lol

Ive had that problem, but not as commonly as you described.

Once in a while, Safari will drop my connection, and present me with the select a network dialog. It seems to connect on it own, but I have noticed some fabrics and walls disrupt the Touch's WiFi reception, causing the drops.

I don't own a WiFi router, but mine connects sometimes [somehow].. I wonder if it connects to my neighbors? :o
