Recent Crash!

Hi I recently had a hard drive melt down and after a long ordeal with apple I have decided to either fix it myself or go through geek squad or an AASP. Basically I need a new hard drive will the Tiger install discs that came with my computer (bought 8/2007) work with the new hard drive?

Yep, that's what the restore discs are for. You'll need to format the drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) before you can install the operating system though. 🙂

No worries mate. Hopefully you'll get the drive replaced promptly and cheaply. 🙂
