I'll be at school, so I'll check Apple's site (and rumor sites, etc.) at lunch, around 12:50 PDT. It should be over by then, right?

as usual, following along in irc - the closest Apple store is 3 hours away, so I have to live vicariously through others. :)
So, thanks to the others, who are willing to share the experience :D

Given the question:
What will you be during the Apple Music Event?
I decided that during the event I'll be a cat.
Realistically, I'll be an avid Mac fan eagerly waiting to hear about the new iTunes for Windows.
Maybe the question should read: What will you be doing during the Apple Music Event? ;)

PMSL reed, god it just shows how slow i am, lol.
I'll be ****ing a chicken during the event, because i really couldnt care less what the whole thingymiggie is. Unless it involves Apple releasing software for the PC...

I wish they'd webcast more (or all of the) shows :( I'll never be able to attend them.
So I guess I'll just wake up the next day and read the news. Hopefully they'll have a webcast after the event. Maybe they don't show them live just in case someone's kernal panics.
Actually chances are they will be demonstrating windows itunes. So a crash on startup wouldn't go astray.

Some of us have jobs :p
That and the closest store that'll be carrying it is one heck of a drive away :\
Dang remodeling effort. They couldn't have waited to redo the Mall of America store until spring. NOOOOO. They had to do it when all this cool stuff is going on. :p

In that case, it'll be 5 AM here, and I'll be asleep. I look forward to getting up in the morning and looking at apple.com, followed by MR :)

I'll be in bed trying to get rid of this dang head cold.
(If only I had an Airport, I could put my 17" on my breakfast-in-bed tray...)

I'll be sleeping. I don't really care about the Apple Music Store.
On a sidenote, I thought this was one of the most badly worded and thought out polls. I mean, you could do something else ("other") and still catch up with it later, even though you weren't really busy at the time, etc. In short, the categories were neither mutually exclusive, nor exhaustive (ah, there's the old social scientist speaking again  ; would the real true777 please shut up?)

Totally unrelated to Apple, but related to music: I'm playing with my band on the 16th, so I'll probably be at the soundcheck :)
I don't care so much about iTunes for Windows, give me an iPod with a quality analog audio in and the iTunes Store for Europe...

I'll be taking a take-home test (24 hours) for Jackson Electro- & Magneto-Dynamics. Not looking forward to it.

Yep, I can usually set my schedule with some advance notice so I'll at least be in the office with a computer able to check up on what's going on during these announcments.
Didn't happen this time :( I'll be on the road 90 miles away from my interenet connection.
Hmm...wounder if it's time to try hooking up my cell phone to my laptop so I can keep up on the event while driving down I-75? :D

I moved in August and this is the first time I live within driving distance (90 mins. away) of a store. I know 90 mins. one way is a little ridiculous for a WINDOWS announcement, but I don't care.

I will be otherwise occupied at 1pm EDT. But I plan to follow the event at apple.com and on the forum.

I will be at school during the keynote, but whenever I get home, I'm sure I will be in the IRC room or on Macrumors.

from what i remember, i took the psat while on several cold/pain meds for a narsty sinus infection...which means while i had the scores to prove i took the test, i have no memory of it...so maybe scem0 is planning something similar.
