Ok werid Internet problem basically I restarted my computer after installing drivers and software for a cannon printer and scanner and my Internet wouldn't work. It says it's connected to ethernet and airport in network but it doesn't work. However I have noticed if I unplug the enternet and just use airport so far it works!

Anyone had a problem like this?

I can't see why but would uninstalling the cannon software do anything? If so how can I do that I can't find an uninstaller for it? Cannon 4400F and ipa4500

I did have some strange network problems a while back which I thought was leopard which is why I now have tiger installed, though again this was a day after installing a load of new software including the printer and scanner I just installed?

Rebooted router and computer.

Try this .....

Turn off the AIRPORT
Reconnect Ethernet

Give it a few minutes to take and see if that gets you going.

I am hooked up via ethernet, but to avoid any possible conflicts I turned my AIRPORT card OFF.

Not sure you can be connected to the same router twice ( Ethernet & Airpot ) from the same computer.

I am running Leopard.
