is it right that my finder is always open (blue orb)

just wanted to ask 😀

leopard defo needs more than 1gb ram if you run more than safari getting 4gb soon.
 
Yes it should be open all the time.

Think of Finder as Explorer.exe (assuming you are coming from windows)
