Strange error message

For some reason when I did an upgrade to 10.5.1 a strange error message reporting that "The movie file Orig_0323d7f6.IETemp cannot be found. Without this file, the movie cannot play properly." I had not opened any files and the window refuses to close. I then tried doing a clean install, but the error message persists. What has happened and how can I get rid of it?
