I used to use "Maintenance" to clean up old files and get my system running a bit faster, but it gives me a "not compatible with 10.5"message when I go to use it.

Any suggestions (preferably free ones) for computer c;leaning for Leopard? Thanks!

I mean basic maintenance to keep the system running as fast as possible. My system takes forever to load up now, no idea why.

And I'll repeat myself, too.

Go to my link.

OnyX cleans up basic stuff exactly like you said and runs the basic scripts to ensure your system is clean and running as well as it could.

Scroll further down, and you'll see another program called "Maintenance," which what I assumed you meant originally.

In either case, both are free and do what you want...

I love the onyx program, but it did weird things to my drivers on occasions. Sometimes after using it my video driver would cut the backlight off randomly. when I did a fresh format and reloaded Tiger it work flawlessly until I ran onyx one day and the issue was there again.

Since then I have been using maintenance, which doesn't seem to process as fast as onyx, but no driver issues......
