View Full Version : US Unlocked iPhone in UK - Youtube problem...

I have a US 1.12 unlocked iPhone, using anysim. Everything works ok, except for one thing. When in youtube, I can search for videos, yet I cannot open them, as it says something along the lines of 'Youtube requires an Edge or wi-fi connection'. Is there a way to fix this?

Yes...put it on a wifi network. You won't have edge, because your being a cheapskate.

If that still does not work, go to settings general and click on the 'reset network settings' phone will restart and it may well work then

What network are you using, and on what basis?

You need EDGE coverage to use You Tube (or wi-fi of course) and you can't get EDGE with some carriers nor indeed in some areas even with O2.
