it works it has the right connections but it seems the drivers are keeping me from having complete control and to be able to know how diff combinations of buttons create a differant menu.
 
Mac OS X has a built-in color calibration tool. It can be found in the Display preferences in your System Preferences.
 
Thanks for the tip on the color calibrator but i use this for photography and it needs to be exact.

I talked to a tech at Dell and they said i should contact someone at apple to see if there is a program or something that will let you use a .exe file from my Driver disc...then i will have all the options the monitor provides at my disposal.
