I have had my 17" 1.25 iMac for about 2 weeks now, and although I cannot compare it to the older iMac's, having never used them outside of a store, it makes very little noise.
ok thanks. i have just sold my eMac 700 as i want a bit more power, DVD burner, and a TFT would be nice.
Also the eMac can sometimes be quite noisy.
I was just in a apple store. People must of wondered what is was doing, i had to put my head up against the case to try and see how noisy it was. seemed quiet, but you can never tell in the store.
