Under Tiger, I had certain folders set up to display in certain ways - I wanted some as icon view, some as list view etc.

Under Leopard, it seems that folder views are global, and you can't set different view properties for different folders. Is that a "feature" of Leopard, or am I missing something somewhere?

No, if you say "Use as Defaults" then it becomes global, but otherwise it is a single folder setting.
