Hi,
I received the iPhone adapter from iFrogz. I compared it to the connector on the stock iPhone headphones, and the adapter seems to have the exact same connector.
I connected the stock headphones to the adapter, and the sound works but the control and the microphone do not work. I know you're probably asking why I'm connecting the stock headphones to the adapter, but I was planning on using the Sennheiser cx300 and then quickly switching to the stock iPhone headphones whenever I receive a phone call.
I thought it would minimize the wear and tear on the jack on the phone itself if I could connect the stock headphones to the adapter, as I'll be removing and reconnecting the headphones very frequently.
Do I have a faulty adapter, or is this the expected behavior?
If this doesn't work, I'm just going to go ahead and purchase the super.fi 4vi.
Thanks for any input guys.
