Mixing wireless devices, crossover?

My wife & I currently both have Microsoft wireless mice. When we both use our computers, my mouse is rendered cripple unless I put the receiver inches from the mouse.

I am thinking of getting a Logitech wireless mouse & keyboard. Would I have the same problem or do Logitech & Microsoft devices use different channels/frequencies?

Can you disable or delete the 'unwanted' mouse in Bluetooth Preferences?

Currently we aren't using bluetooth devices. The Logitech I am looking at, the S 530, is not bluetooth either. I'm just wondering if my wife's wireless Microsoft mouse will interfere with a Logitech keyboard & mouse on my system like it does with my current MS wireless mouse.
