The "I can't hear anything in Logic Express and have no clue why" thread

Hey there, it's been a long time.

I've just installed a trial version of Logic Express from a book I've bought, all legitimate etc.

My only problem is that I can't hear anything from the song files I've opened up or anything whatsoever. I'm having to use the computer keyboard for it all, but I don't think that makes any difference really.

If anyone can help me out it'd be much appreciated as there's some evolving patch/GM drum kits I want to be getting on with for work.

The older demo does not have the right drivers for Intel Macs. Which Mac are you using and which version of the demo are you using?

dont wanna patronize here but check the simplist things 1st, system prefs sound output? is it an all in one machine or external speakers? even try logic prefs for output? sorry if thats just insulting.
