Spotlight isn't indexing new files. How do I tell it to do a new indexing?

I was downloading some new software, and recently when I tried to launch one of them via Spotlight, I saw that it's not included in it's search results. It's definitely in my applications folder.

So I guess I have to force a re-index to fix the issue. But how?
