I love iChat am frustrated with the font. I want my outgoing font color to be blue but the receiver says it is blue only after I change it each time. When I go into preferences and then font, I change it to blue. Outgoing messages on my screen are blue, but the receiver sees black. The first message I send will be blue but then change right back to black. Is there a way to permanently change this?!

It seems a bit ridiculous to change it each time.

Perhaps your receiver has his client set to reformat incoming messages. I know I do, because I hate seeing people's blue, pink and green text in various annoying typefaces and sizes.
