Guitar Hero III

Does anyone know how to get a Playstation 2 guitar hero III controller to work with Guitar Hero III for mac? I have a ps2 to usb converter but I cant find any drivers or programs that let it with GHIII. Any help anyone can give would be great.

I'm assuming you've tried just using whatever software you have to make a normal playstation controller work with the computer. I'd assume the Guitar Hero controller just assigns its buttons to act the same as buttons on the regular controller, so software that works for one ought to work for the other...

I tried using usboverdrive and i think i could get it to recognize the guitar as a controller, but I didnt have any way to test it because it still doesnt work with guitar hero III. I also think that there had to be a way for the guitar hero application to recognize the controller as a guitar controller for it to use... I may be way off, i dont know

If the guitar is detected first and foremost, then you could try using a key remapper. read my post about it here (although it details using the x-plorer controller for dtamania, the idea is the same):
