Well how do I get iLife on my computer do I have to go buy it again or is there a way to use the MacBook disks to get the older version on?

Side note is it worth getting iLife 08....

It is possible,.. but requires some trickery and may not be totally legal.

I think that iLife 08 is worth it for the iPhoto and iMovie upgrades alone (not to mention that you can download the previous version of iMove HD which is a bit more heave duty video editor for free).

If you use iPhoto or iMove you want it. Its only 79$ US ($39 with a student discount at most university bookstore) after all.

You should be able to purchase and download iLife.. but I'm not certain.
 
If you installed Leopard on your Macbook and want to reinstall the iLife that came with your computer, simply insert the Mac OS X disc 1 that came with the macbook, and go from there. There is an option to re-install the iLife software, which is completely legal (that's why it's on the disk). as long as it's not being used on a second machine, that is

How do you get your hands on iMovieHD? I want to see if it can handle some video formats that iMovie08 cannot.
