Bad day: Held in the jaws of a Croc, only to be shot by rescuer

He was "stealing" eggs.

Jason Grant was collecting crocodile eggs at a remote reptile farm when he found himself locked inside a giant set of jaws.

I remember seeing something about how bullets bounce off crocodile's heads because of the thick scales... not that you'd be aiming there anyway right, if someone is trapped in its mouth.
 
I wonder which hurt more. I'm guessing the croc bite. If the shot scared off the crocodile, I guess the pain from the bullet was worth it if it set him free.
 
He survived, though -- just hit him in the arm. I'd take a shot in the arm to get rescued from a thrashing crocodile.

The Croc would have been fine, the bloke would have had to worry though as he was stealing the eggs, and some how I don't think Steve would have approved of that one bit.

Wonder if the bloke shouted "CRIKY!"

I think the guy could be working on the farm, maybe moving the eggs to the hatchery or something. Although you could say in the eyes of the croc, he is "stealing"
