proxy server and using javascript for youtube since it's blocked in turkey

Hi,
I'm not so new to Mac but my knowledge of Mac isn't so advanced either and I could really use some help. I live in Turkey and they have banned youtube. I read that you can just use a proxyserver like unblockwebsites.com to access youtube. I did that and it's true i can access youtube but when i try to click on a video it says that i "either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player." I have javascript enabled, cookies enabled and the new version of flash player installed. can anyone offer any help about this. I know it's just youtube and not the end of the world but i would appreciate any help.
