I use to be able to pause movies during playback by pressing the spacebar. Now I can only do that if I'm playing the movie in fullscreen mode, otherwise my computer just beeps at me when I hit the spacebar.
Is is just me, or does this just happen to everyone using QuickTime 7.4?
I'm currently running 10.5.1 (with all updates installed) on a iMac G5.

Um, nope, i don't think it has ever happened to me, and I use Quicktime as my primary video playback system

I have the same problem, also Quicktime 7.4.0 and Mac OS X 10.5.2 on a PowerMac G5. But I discovered something new - clicking anywhere on the movie pauses it, and double clicking plays it. I think this started the same time the space bar stopped working.
