hmm i know this has been brought up before, but i couldn't seem to find a fix for it. every time i try to repair my permissions, a whole list shows up that say they can't be fixed. most of it is like the dock and changing its appearance, but some of it isn't. will this be fixed in the .2 update?
btw, since i'm sort of a noob when it comes to the innards of leopard (or os x for that matter) what do permissions do? does it slow down performance any if i leave them unrepaired?
