samh004 macrumors 68020 Jan 23, 2008 #2 Something similar to burn-in is still possible and there's no reason why you wouldn't use a screensaver, they're nice, however just sleeping the display when your not using it is easy too.

Dark Dragoon macrumors 6502a Jan 24, 2008 #3 Here is a photograph of my 20in Apple Cinema Display after a few hours of being left on the background. The grey image is a solid grey fill. It's annoying but not permanent. This is why I normally use a screen saver or set my screen to turn off after a few minutes.
