30" ACD with Macbook Pro

Hi all,

Can someone confirm that it's possible to use a Macbook Pro (1st generation) with the 30" ACD? The graphics card that's in the MBP looks like it should be able to do it, but some people have seemed a little doubtful that it'll work....

Anyone actually doing this?

I have a powerbook G4 and I was told I could use a ACD 30" with it. Your laptop is newer tech.

works beautifully (in clamshell or extended desktop)

I'm currently thinking of getting myself a Mac Pro at some point, but in the mean-time, a very nice external monitor for my MBP will be more than welcome!
