First of all I have a macbook 2.16ghz 2GB ram, Leopard
Recently I have notice that macosx was displaying way too often the beachball and was randomly disconnecting from the wifi router (which btw,it is only 2m away in direct line of sight, and my HP laptop has no problem whatsoever)
I have decided to do the following:
1. In disk utility
1.1 Verify disk permissions
1.2 Repair disk permissions
1.3 Verify disk
1.4 Repair disk permissions
2. Then in Spring Cleaning
2.1 Run all the housekeeping scripts
2.2 System cache cleaner
3. Reboot
4. In disk utility
4.1 Repair disk permissions:
After all this I still get the following from disk utility:
