touch nightmare... many questions

I have finally downgraded back to 1.1.1. Using oktoprep, I'm not able to update to 1.1.2. That's ok for now.

I restored on my iMac because my iPod isn't recognized on my PowerBook. It doesn't show up after downgrading to 1.1.1 (which was done on the iMac).

It only shows up in iTunes on my PowerBook when it's in restore mode.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I should say, the iMac is using iTunes 7.6, but my PowerBook is using 7.5. I am updating the PB to 7.6 now.
