NTFS Questions. MACFUSE/NTFS-3g - will it write/save/load from Imovie 08

Hello,
Can save movies >4g on NTFS external drive; open, edit, and save >4gig movies from within Imovie08 in Tiger?

I know you can't do it without...

well, I don't know how much NTFS-3g and MacFuse actually can do.

I read this:

but it still leaves much to be desired in understanding this process from nothing.

Does anyone have a good tutorial for all of the options, FAQ, and capabilites of NTFS on a mac?
