iTunes Not Playing

For some reason hen I updated iTunes, the songs don't play! Nor do the previews for the Music Store. And then for some reason the font for the icons is different and not really anti-aliased.

It's weird and I thought I'd ask here before I do anything drastic.
(I was thinking about a clean install just to get fresh again)

Okay I figured out the icon thing, somehow the System Preferences were reset to stop text smoothing 10 and down.

Okay someone can close this thread, it seems that I put the the little volume knob at the beginning of the slide :D :p :o
