I was playing around with a .Mac trial today and noticed that address book took ages to sync. I knew that wasn't right.
Anyway, I tracked it down to the images assigned to contacts in ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book/Images
It seems address book doesn't optimise the images, so they are all 3072x2304 pixels wide, when the image box in address book is only something like 50x50.
So I was wondering if anyone knows of a program/script that will optimise the images assigned to address book entries?
